Dear All,
For: Methodist students and staff particularly, but all are welcome.
Following the challenge of its young people, the Methodist Church is celebrating a Year of Testimony by gathering in loads of diverse stories and by equipping local churches to build a culture of lay testimony in their worship.
On Tuesday 5 November from 10am to 5.30pm The Story Project, staffed by a member of the Methodist Evangelism + Growth Team, will be at Queen’s to record video testimonies of students (of all traditions) and staff alike. We invite everyone to come by the Seminar Rooms to record a three-four minute story of what it’s like for you right now to be undergoing God, to share what God is doing in your life right now. This could be a story of praise or changed perspective, but also might be a lament, a question that you’ve been wrestling with, or an experience of being personally challenged by God. Testimony is not an advert for a programme or a sermon or a Bible study, but a narrative sharing of what it’s like for you as a disciple as you journey with God.
To find out more and to help you prepare your share, check out and/or read this short article.
You do not need to book - you can just turn up. If you have any questions please ask a Methodist member of staff. Remember, you cannot reply to this message via email.
Best wishes
Judith
