To all students.  Two very minor amendments have been made to update your academic handbooks.  Updated versions (1.3) are on moodle under the section on your home page called  Academic/Foundation Information and then the  section Academic and General Information.  They are:

• In the handbook for Common Awards students at page 15 point 12 relating to the pass mark for level 6 modules that are undertaken as part of the Common Awards MA programme (including Post Graduate Diploma)- in line with other level 7 modules the pass mark is 50% not 40%. This is not the same for Newman MA/ PG Diploma/ PG Certificate students.
• In the handbook for Newman University Students page 37, QF633 was listed as a 10 credit modules, it has been corrected to show that it is a 20 credit module.

Also in this area on moodle you will find copies of reports from our external examiners. Just added to this section is our response to our first ever Common Awards examiner report.  This response was approved by Academic Management Group last week.
