You know that parking on the campus is very limited.  We have to give priority to permanent residents, and then to weekly commuters.  To manage parking we will issue permits next week, and only those with permits will be allowed to park on the campus, either in the few places by the Old Building or in the Handsworth car park.  If we do not have enough spaces for everyone who has requested a permit we will be in touch with weekly commuters to resolve who has priority.

If you do not receive a permit please do not park on the campus, either by the Old Building or in the Handsworth car park.  You will be taking someone else's place.  The new parking restrictions on Somerset Road add pressure but I hope that the purchase of No 24 will be complete soon and that we can begin to use the car park there for commuters.  In the meantime I encourage you to car share or use public transport wherever possible.
