This is simply to
remind the whole Queen’s Community of the online ecumenical Covenanting
Service we shall hold on January 24th at 7.00 pm, UK time
[GMT]. This will be when we take the opportunity, in the context of worship,
to be reminded of the commitments we make to each other as a whole community,
as an ecumenical body which comprises and represents many different Christian
traditions. With apologies to our community members for whom the time will be
tricky (well past midnight in Sri Lanka!), we simply had to decide on one time
when we hope most Queen’s community members may be able to reach a screen.
Those not able to be present may wish to remember us all in prayer and use the
words we shall use in some other way at some time close to our own celebration.
