We are planning for the library to be open this afternoon (Tuesday) between 4.00 and 7.00. During this time you will be able to borrow and return books only. The self-issue computer and catalogue computer are operative, but it will help if you can search the catalogue online in advance of your visit, as there is likely to be high demand for the use of the catalogue computer. The student pcs will not be available.

The building is safe to enter but because there is no working fire alarm we are conducting a risk assessment to ensure that there are safe means to exit in case of any need.

As work in the Old Building proceeds we will keep under review when the library can be open to students and we will keep you informed.
