For the attention of students on Common Awards and Birmingham Newman academic programmes:

There have been some updates to the Academic Handbooks. The updates relate to: 

• The new AI Policy and Guidance (to bring the handbook in line with the policy)
• Additional reasons that students may ask for extensions on assignments
• Notification of the minimum length of time between the end of teaching on a module and the assignment deadlines

All updates in the handbooks are highlighted yellow in order to make it clear what the differences are.
