Dear Queen’s Staff and Students,

This month’s Black Theology Forum (BTF) will be a Black History Month Special. It will host the Sam Sharpe Lecture with Rev Canon Dr Carlton Turner speaking on 'Fighting for Freedom, Fighting for Wholeness: Revolutionary Reactions to Colonial Christianity'.

It will be an in-person event and also streamed online.

The Black Theology Forum/Sam Sharpe Lecture will take place on Thursday, 24th October, from 6pm with a meal (in the dining hall), and the lecture will start at 7.30pm (in the Queen’s Chapel).

If you would like to attend in person, there is a special code for Queen’s staff and students. The code exempts the payment of £10 for the meal, lecture, and refreshments.

To obtain the code, please email me at cbtadmin@queens.ac.uk. Once you have the code, please register here!

The deadline to register (for in-person attendance) is Tuesday the 15th October at 1pm.

If you have any further queries, please ask.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Kind regards,

Rebecca Ademola
