STOP PRESS! Hastily-arranged On-Site Event at Queen’s!

Sunday May 15th, 4.00 pm, Handsworth Room, Queen’s Foundation.

We are pleased to report that Revd Dr Jione Havea, a Methodist Liberation Theologian from Tonga, currently working in New Zealand, will be with us at Queen’s, being introduced to us by Revd Dr Stephen Burns, former Queen’s tutor and one of our International Research Consultants.

I apologise that this can be made available only to those on-site or easily able to get to Queen’s but it is something of a ‘last minute’ arrangement, to coincide with the Queen’s library’s receipt of a generous donation of books by the Council for World Mission. The CWM sponsors the ‘Theology in the Age of Empire’ project, many of the books for which have been edited by Jione Havea.

A flyer giving the details of the event and more details about the CWM Project is attached.
