We know that making decisions around referencing can be confusing. Our strong advice is to choose one style and stick to it. If you need help choosing or learning the rules of a particular style (or don't even know what the choices are), we suggest that you begin in the academic handook (found on the academic information page). Then, further help is available in the study skills section of Moodle where you'll find beginners' guides to the various styles listed in the handbook.

Don't allow yourself to be overwhelmed by referencing! Take the process step-by-step and use the examples in the beginners' guides as models.

 Keep checking the study skills pages - I'm adding new information and resources all the time in response to student queries.
