Dele Sotonwa, Chair, Racial Justice Reference Group, Church of England, Birmingham, writes:

We will be holding a service of celebration and reflection for Black History Month at St Martin's in the Bullring, Birmingham, on 16th October at 4pm
This year’s service is entitled, ‘Celebrate: Called to be’ (1 Peter 2:9) in recognition of the witness to our call to flourish as the people of God. The service will also provide an opportunity to give thanks for all those who have been steadfast in their commitment to serve God over the years.
Kindly pass this invitation on to any who might be interested in attending.
Every blessing,
Dele Sotonwa

The service is open to all, not just Anglicans, and anyone in the Birmingham area is welcome to attend.
