Dear Queen's learning community,

Thank you for your patience. Moodle is now back online.

As you will see, the look and navigation of the Queen’s Moodle site has undergone significant changes. Our aim is to make the site easier to use for everyone! As with any changes, it will take a bit of getting used to but we will be creating a range of videos over the Summer to help you get better acquainted with the new features.

The best place to start is with this short (9 minute) introduction video in which I'll give you a quick tour of some of the new menus and links:   https://vimeo.com/573384812/3daf947b9c

Please bear in mind that this is only phase 1 of the Moodle update. On many pages, you will see *PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION* or there may be pages that you believe you should be able to acccess, but cannot as yet. Please be patient. Over the Summer, we will be working hard to make sure that all the information is up-to-date and everyone has the correct access. However, if you do have significant access problems, please let us know at moodle@queens.ac.uk

For now, have an explore and get used to the new links to online resources and the Common Awards Hub. Take a look around the new help menu and keep checking back over the Summer to see what has been added to your centre's home page and the student resource sections.

I really hope that these changes will improve your Moodle experience. I will be in touch again in September to highlight the new resources available.

Many thanks,

Jen Smith
