Citizens UK Commonwealth Games Legacy Assembly, Thurs 16 June 2022, 5.45pm-8pm.

You are invited to join communities from across Citizens UK to celebrate the arrival of the Commonwealth Games and hear from those in power on how its legacy will benefit families in our region.

Amidst powerful stories, joyful performances and specific asks civil society leaders from Citizens UK member schools, places of worship, trade union, education institutions, voluntary organisations, and community businesses will seek a legacy for the games that positively impacts the lives of our families struggling with pressures of housing, jobs and safety.

As a member of Citizens UK, The Queen's Foundation supports this event. It is your opportunity to see community organising at its best and to engage with some burning issues that reach far beyond Birmingham.
